In preparing for this summer's Boston Fan Zone, we have taken our time. Over many weeks, our team has worked closely with a range of key stakeholders—including law enforcement and other first responder partner agencies—to plan thoughtfully and thoroughly. When you arrive, you can expect a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere and the same consistent, high level of service our department is known for.
Physical security screening checkpoints, with mandatory bag searches, will be implemented for all those attending. Items such as, but not limited to: coolers, fireworks, flares, air horns, etc… will not be allowed into the event space.
